Hello everyone, I am Rui Cheng from China. I am an international freshmen in Division of General Studies Department of university of illinois, urbaba-champaign. Though I haven't got a spercific major right now, I have an idea for my prospective major which is accountancy. So, I register for macroeconomics, calculus and statistics course in my first semester and hopefully I will have a high GPA.
Let's talk about my hometown and my family.
My hometown Shenzhen, a metropolitan city south to Hongkong, is one of the most prosperous city in China. It's famous of it's prosperity(such as shopping malls, theme parks) and its good weather--the temperature in shenzhen's winter is as worm as the temperature in illinois' summer. No doubt, I don't like the weather here, illinois.
My family is composed of my parents and me. I have neither brothers nor sisters due to the"one child policy". Both my parents are general managers. They have strong ability and are really hardworking. I want to be a succesfull person just like my parents in the future. That's why I come to United States, where the quality of education is better than any other countries, to study during my college life.
Well, at the end, I wish everyone enjoy his or her college life in US and hopefully everyone will have a promised future~!

I have a friend from Shenzehn, too. She always misses terrific weather of her hometown. I'd like to visit the city if I have a chance. :D
